Role Overview:

As the Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in managing and supervising a team of care staff, ensuring that the highest quality of care is consistently delivered to our service users. You will provide hands-on support, guidance, and leadership, ensuring that your team is motivated, well-trained, and working together to meet the needs of those we support. Your leadership will help maintain a positive, high-performing culture while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of care staff, ensuring effective care delivery and team cohesion.
  • Provide hands-on support to service users, ensuring their needs are met in a person-centered way.
  • Assist in the training and development of care staff, ensuring they are equipped with the skills and knowledge they need.
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of care, ensuring compliance with CQC and other regulatory bodies.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, fostering an open and collaborative environment.
  • Provide feedback and support to staff to ensure high morale and motivation.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a team leader or supervisory role within the social care sector, ideally working with adults or elderly care.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, support, and guide a team effectively.
  • In-depth knowledge of care standards and CQC regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and work collaboratively with service users, families, and the care team.
  • A hands-on approach with the ability to provide direct care and support when needed.
  • Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and ensure service users’ needs are met promptly and efficiently.
