Role Overview:

As a Support Worker, you will work directly with individuals, assisting with day-to-day tasks and providing person-centered support. You will play a vital role in helping people live independently, promoting their well-being, and ensuring their needs are met with care and respect. You will be part of a close-knit team, supported by a professional environment focused on the highest standards of care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support to individuals in a compassionate and respectful manner.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as dressing, bathing, and meal preparation.
  • Support individuals with medication management, as required.
  • Encourage and assist with social activities, fostering community integration and engagement.
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided, reporting any changes in service users’ health or well-being.
  • Collaborate with other care professionals to ensure the best possible care for the individuals.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in care is beneficial, but not essential (training will be provided).
  • Compassionate and empathetic with a genuine desire to help others.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with service users.
  • Reliable and flexible, with the ability to adapt to the needs of the service users.
  • Understanding of confidentiality and respect for privacy.
