Role Overview:
As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management and operation of the service, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining the quality of care. You will lead a dedicated team of professionals, ensuring the highest levels of care and support are delivered to the individuals we serve.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading and managing the care service to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
- Ensuring compliance with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and other regulatory bodies.
- Overseeing staff recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Managing budgets and resources effectively.
- Conducting regular assessments and reviews of care plans.
- Maintaining strong relationships with service users, families, and external professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that care is delivered to the highest standards and in line with company policies.
- Develop and maintain a positive, person-centered approach to care.
- Lead and manage a team of care staff, providing guidance and support.
- Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management of staff.
- Ensure compliance with CQC and other relevant regulatory bodies.
- Conduct audits, assessments, and maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
- Registered with CQC as a manager, or have experience in a registered management role.
- Experience in managing a care team within the social care sector, preferably with adults or elderly care.
- Strong leadership skills and a passion for developing and supporting your team.
- Knowledge of CQC regulations and the ability to implement them within a care setting.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with service users, families, and external professionals.
- Ability to manage budgets and ensure that resources are allocated effectively to meet service delivery needs.
